Gather Required Documents

  • Birth verification for enrolling child (Certified or Hospital)
  • Birth certificate for all siblings in the home under 18 years of age: to verify family size for full day programs only (Certified or Hospital). Staff can help determine if this is necessary.
  • Proof of income within the last 12 months: (Check Stubs, Entire Signed Tax Return, Disability, SSI, TANF, SNAP or CalWORKs)
  • Immunization records or document from physician
  • Name of Dental and Medical Plan
  • Medical, Dental, and/or Medi-Cal Insurance Cards
  • WIC #
  • Court documentation for guardianship/foster care/custody/restraining orders
  •  Individualized Education Plan (IEP) if your child is receiving special education services (Speech Therapy, etc.)

Submit an Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in our pre-school and infant/toddler services. Our programs are funded by Head Start and the State of California. Each funding source has specific requirements that families must meet to qualify. 

Please complete the interest form below in which our staff will review and contact you to obtain additional information and discuss possible enrollment. Please note that this is only an interest form. Completing this form and the preschool registration DOES NOT guarantee placement into SETA’s Head Start/Early Head Start Program.

There is no specific timeframe as enrollment is based on availability in the program and center you’ve chosen. Selection is based on priority points assigned at time of application.

No, you will only be waitlisted for the option and/or sites you have indicated. You also must have submitted the required documents to be waitlisted.

Families should hear back from a Family Service Worker within two weeks after submitting the inquiry. Families may contact our enrollment number at (916) 263-6113 if they do not hear back after two weeks have passed.

We do not provide transportation, but we can assist families in receiving a bus pass or other transportation assistance.

Family members are encouraged to join the home visit, but the legal parent(s)/guardian(s) must be present at the home visit.

  • The Part-Day option offers 3.5-4 hours per day for five days a week (four days per week at selected locations.) Part-Day classes operate morning and afternoon sessions.
  • The Full-Day option offers 6.5 hours or more per day for five days a week. This option is designed to meet the needs of families who are working and/or going to school full time.
